Maple Roast Sweet Potato

Prep: 5 minutes

Cooking: 30 minutes


  • 600g sweet potato, peeled and chopped into rounds
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Melt butter in a large bowl, and mix syrup and lemon juice into it.  Season sauce well.
  2. Toss sweet potato in the saucy mix and ensure all is well coated.
  3. Place sweet potato onto baking paper and pop into the oven for the last 30 minutes that the turkey is cooking.
