Win a Prada Handbag with Steggles


Iconic Australian poultry brand Steggles launched its latest television commercial on Sunday 17th October to support an exciting new consumer promotion to ‘instantly win’ an authentic designer Prada handbag valued at over $2,000.

The 15 second national television commercial is aimed at broadening the appeal and knowledge of chicken products you can now find in the supermarket freezer.

Set in a supermarket, the commercial features your ‘main grocery buyer’ purchasing Steggles’ chicken parmigiana and the recently launched stuffed spinach and cheese chicken mini roast. The check-out assistant asks the buyer if she’d “like a bag with that” and then proceeds to present the customer with a Prada handbag.

The new consumer promotion is also being supported by a two-week print campaign and four-week floor media endorsement in Woolworths stores across Australia.

Steggles Brand Manager Celeste Moroney said: “The new promotion targets consumers who are looking for a great-tasting and convenient meal solution. The chicken offering found in today’s supermarket freezer has greatly evolved from chicken nuggets. Consumers can now find a wide range of meals that when teamed up with vegetables or salad, provide a great-tasting family meal.

“With the frozen chicken meat category growing at 10%*, we continue to look to drive growth through the delivery of new and exciting meal solutions, along with exciting campaigns.”

According to the Australian Chicken Meat Federation, recent research shows that the vast majority of Australians consume chicken once a week, with one out of three people consuming chicken three times a week*.
