Savi’s Story
At just four and a half years old, Savi is already a natural performer. Her love of music began at Ronald McDonald House and now her stage is the backyard, where she sings and dances for her family. Every Saturday, her dad, Chari – a chef who now cooks for RMHC families – fires up the BBQ while Savi puts on a show. It’s their favourite family ritual, filled with music, food, and plenty of applause, especially from her little brother and biggest fan, Ranu.
Henry’s Story
Three-year-old Henry lives in a world shaped by imagination, fancy dress and adventures. One day he’s Captain Feathersword from The Wiggles, the next he’s straight out of The Gruffalo: his all-time favourite book. He lives on a farm with his mum, a teacher, and his dad, who’s usually out working on the tractor. But it’s his Pop who holds a special place in his heart. Each morning, he drops by with a little blue esky packed with treats – and an extra honey sandwich, just for Henry.
Haisley’s Story
Haisley is 14 months old and full of smiles, especially when her big brother Levi is around. Just the sight of him sends her into giggles. Haisley is currently staying at Ronald McDonald House with her mum while undergoing treatment, but her joy never fades. Back home, their dog Cosmo recently gave birth to five surprise puppies. So, whether it’s Levi fishing or the puppies playing in the yard, their farm is full of life – and waiting to welcome Haisley and her mum back again soon.

As one of their National Kitchen sponsors, we help families living at RMHC by supplying delicious chicken products Australia-wide and lending a hand volunteering for their ‘Meals from the heart’ initiative.

This July, we have transformed our Steggles Family Roast into the Charity Chook, the most delicious way to do good.
The Charity Chook will be available throughout the entire month of July, from July 1st to July 31st.
The Charity Chook (aka The Steggles Family Roast Chicken) donates 30c to support children’s charities in July.
All proceeds from the activation are shared amongst charities within the Steggles Charity Nest.
Steggles proudly supports a range of charities with a special focus on children and families. We will share all proceeds equally amongst the 11 charities.
Ronald McDonald House Australia, Children’s Cancer Institute (CCI), Children’s Hospital Foundation Queensland, Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation, Lifestart, Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, Griffith Leeton Riding for the Disabled Association, Autism SA, Lilttle Wings, and Griffith Autism Support Group.
