What is the Steggles BBQ Chook-Can?

It’s a new way to cook your chook – helps keep the chicken moist and tender, and gives it a nice flavour. From Jamie Oliver to leading food sites have cooked chickens this way (with great success!). All you need is the Steggles Family Roast, Steggles BBQ Chook-Can and a BBQ!

How do I use it?

It’s really quite simple. First open the Steggles BBQ Chook-Can, discard 100ml of liquid and then place the BBQ Chook-Can upright on a baking tray. Place the Steggles Family Roast over the upright BBQ Chook-Can (can should be inside the cavity of the chicken). Cook the chicken in the upright position on the BBQ at 180 degrees for 20–25 mins per 500g, or until fully cooked and the juices run clear when pierced.
