Steggles Roosters Charity Nest
Roosters visit Steggles Factory
The Steggles Sydney Roosters players made a special visit to the Steggles factory in Ipswich on Thursday 3rd February 2011. The entire Sydney Roosters team joined Steggles staff at a barbecue lunch to help raise much-needed funds for Steggles staff, families and friends who have been affected by the Queensland floods.
The visit was an opportunity for the Sydney Roosters to speak with those affected by the disaster and show their support. Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale was also attended. In an effort to further assist flood victims, Steggles is hosting barbecues and running a raffle across its sites nationally to raise more funds. Over $13,000 has been raised so far. In addition, Steggles is also donating a large amount of chicken meat products to various relief centres in and around Brisbane and Ipswich.
